This post is one of the most challenging posts I have had to write. Today Darwin has crossed the rainbow. We have had 13 beautiful years with the kindest, sweetest, loving rescue dog. I have spent more time with Darwin over the 13 years than anyone. He followed me everywhere and never left my side during some of my life's most challenging, longest, and darkest days. He was my best friend and made life exponentially better in every way. I have been so lucky to have spent these years with Darwin, and I will long and miss him for the rest of my life. I will see you in my dreams, Darwin. You & me taking long walks, running in water, and giving you all the treats you deserve. Darwin, until I see you again. Thank you for loving us unconditionally.
