Today, I saw a post asking, “Which woman has inspired you?” I paused. What a great question. But is it just one woman? Or is it many? Or is it all women?
The truth is, most women inspire me. From mothers juggling careers and family to women forging their own paths—CEOs, executives, and stay-at-home moms—every woman carries a story of resilience, strength, and grace.
When I think of inspirational women, I think of those who shaped history—Eleanor Roosevelt, Princess Diana, Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai, and so many others who have left a lasting impact. But beyond the icons, it’s everyday women who truly inspire me.
It’s the woman clocking in overtime to feed her family, the mother who works a full day yet still makes it to her child’s school event, and the woman who endures heartbreak, loss, or illness yet keeps going.
It’s the grandmother who survived unimaginable hardship—like my own Omi, who waited over a decade while her husband was imprisoned during World War II, yet still found the strength to care for her family. It’s the neighbor fighting a silent battle, the friend rebuilding after divorce, and the woman who lost her husband after 44 years of marriage yet found a way to carry on for another 15 years alone—like my own mom.
Everyday women—strong, determined, compassionate—are the backbone of the world. They may not always make headlines, but their strength shapes the world. And collectively, they are nothing short of extraordinary. #herstories #internationalwomensday #internationalwomensday2025 #IWD #inspiringherstories #inspiration #admiration #women
